Online Casino Advisory Calls For A Boycott of Kentucky Gambling

Steve Beshear may not have fully understood the impact that his actions may have on the gambling industry in his state. The governor is trying to seize the domain names of 141 best online casinos gambling sites, and the case is now being drawn out in court.

The online gambling Advisory, a leading online gambling news website, has called for a boycott on all gambling in Kentucky until the domain name case is concluded. While the Advisory goes a bit far in how the boycott should be carried out, we here at CGW are supporting several aspects of the boycott.

The Advisory calls for "...a boycott by all gamblers, civil libertarians, and concerned protectors of the Internet of all products of Kentucky, or anything that produces Kentucky tax revenue. Until Beshear lifts his fascist order, every effort must be made to hurt the state's coffers."

While the premise is strong, the Advisory does go on to ask for boycotting of all Churchill Downs facilities. They also are calling for residents of Kentucky to buy goods such as cigarettes and groceries across state lines.

CGW agrees with the idea that if Beshear is truly against gambling because of its effects on children, then he should not be biased towards only Internet gambling that the state does not receive money from.

Residents of Kentucky currently can gamble online on horses through Churchill Downs' website. They also can buy gambling lottery tickets. The people of Kentucky and all other gamblers should refrain from their gambling practices within the state. Beshear and his political allies should not benefit from something that he is fighting against.

It says something that sites such as the Online Gambling Advisory have come out against Beshear. The Advisory reports news, and does not usually get involved, but when something this foul is taking place, we here at CGW must stand behind our fellow news site.

Today it is gamblers rights in Kentucky that are being infringed upon. Tomorrow, it could be the right to report on such court cases that will be targeted by Beshear.
